| Press release – 21st Sept 2009 Tralee’s Aqua Dome reports healthy cash pool during wet summer HEALTHY profits were generated at the Aqua Dome Tralee during the summer despite the horrendous weather conditions in what could only be described as a washout season for many tourist amenities around the country. The CEO of the Aqua Dome, Kieran Rutledge said: “We are particularly pleased to see an increase in the number of local people who chose to come to our facility rather than staying at home during the miserable rain-filled summer days. It’s wonderful to know that the Aqua Dome continues to be the number one family indoor amenity in the southwest.” He said he hopes that this trend will be maintained into the winter months with the introduction of a special offer of an eight month membership for the price of six months. This can be paid in full or in recession-friendly “pay-as-you-go” instalments. “The Aqua Dome does 50% of its business in July and August, but we are keen to highlight that from September onwards, we offer a more relaxed experience to patrons without the queues and noise that come with large volumes of children,” said Kieran Rutledge. He indicated that anyone who avails of an eight-month adult, junior or family membership will be guaranteed the best value around and a regular opportunity to enjoy a healthy experience regularly between now and next summer. The offer is only available during September and October 2009 and more details are available from www.aquadome.ie, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
