Press release - 8th September 2009 2417 Cabs and lT Tralee Students Union join forces in the interest of student safety

A SAFE tift home is being offered to the ctass of 2009 at l.T. Tralee from Kerry's leading taxi company, 24 / 7 Cabs.

Kevin Finn, the Marketing Manager with24/7 Cabs, said: "We are introducing a safe home facitity for third tevel students who may have experienced difficutty during their night out by running out of money or losing their wattet. Al[ these students need to do is handover their student lD card to the 24/7 Cabs driver and this can be redeemed upon payment of the taxi fare at their earliest convenience. This is a good-faith initiative that witl attow students to get home safely without worrying about the initial cost. "

The President of the Students Union at lT Tratee, Katie Sheehy, said: I am confident that the partnership with a company such as 24/7 Cabs woutd be of great benefit to the students at the cotlege. This new initiative wi[[ atso ease the minds of parents who worry about the welfare of their children who may be tiving away from home for the first time. "

The 24/7 Cabs Student Ctub witt atso offer students at l.T. Tratee a number of incentives to avail of the best taxi service in Tratee with travet vouchers, weekty offers, updates via Btuetooth and entry into draws for a host of prizes.

Membership to the Club is open to Tratee residents who are students in other third levet institutions around lretand and who may wish to book a taxi when they are home in Tratee.
