Record demand for tickets to biggest ever International Rose Ball
KERRY Rose Karen McGillycuddy has reserved her table at what will be a magical 2009 International Rose Ball which takes place in the Topaz Dome on Friday 21st August at Fels Point, Tralee.
Among those who will certainly be joining Karen at the Ball on the night will be Ray D’Arcy, Gay Byrne, Ryan Tubridy and local favourite Dáithí Ó Sé and many other well known celebrities.
“While I am excited about the Festival as a whole, I’m especially looking forward to the Ball, because that is our first chance to step into the atmosphere of the Festival in Tralee,” said Kerry Rose Karen McGillycuddy.
Communications Manager for the Rose of Tralee International Festival, John Drummey said: “This year we anticipate breaking all attendance records at the Ball and demand has been so phenomenal that we are erecting the largest Dome in the history of the event.”
“There will be a champagne reception, sumptuous banquet, fantastic entertainment, dancing, live music and all the glamour and glitz that go with this event, so anyone attending the Ball this year will be dazzled by the overall colour and sheer spectacle of the occasion,” he said.
“If you want to participate in this historic night of celebration, please be advised that tickets are now at a premium and anyone wishing to go should book now to avoid disappointment,” added John Drummey.
