| THE Festival Dome which will play host to the 2010 Rose of Tralee is to be increased in size to accommodate the large number of bookings for the various events taking place there during the Festival. “The Dome was enlarged last year for the 50 year celebrations of the Festival but it was assumed the normal size would be adequate this year. The demand for tickets is at such positive level we have decided to extend the Dome by 10 metres to accommodate an additional 500 people seated, or 1,000 standing,” said John Drummey, Communications Manager for the Rose of Tralee International Festival. Events to be held at the Dome this year include the Gala Rose Ball, Kerry's Got Talent, Radio Kerry’s Big Party with Alexandra Burke & Diversity, the Irish Examiner Autumn Winter Fashion Show and of course, the Rose of Tralee Selection nights. Radio Kerry’s Andrew Morrissey will be the star of the show for Midnight at the Dome on Saturday 21st August, while two Party nights with the Roses will take place in the Dome on August 23rd and 24th from 11.30pm nightly. Tickets to the Rose of Tralee Selection nights, the Irish Examiner Autumn Winter Fashion Show, Midnight at the Dome and Party with the Roses are available from the Rose of Tralee office on 066-7121322 or www.roseoftralee.ie. Tickets for Radio Kerry’s Big Party with Alexandra Burke & Diversity are available from Radio Kerry and ROXY Tralee. For further details contact Radio Kerry on 066-7123666.
