STEP out of summer and into the crisp and cosy autumn months at the Irish Examiner Autumn Winter Fashion Show in association with Victoria Jackson Make-up during this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival 20^th to 24^th August.

Never mind the slump in house prices, the Dome in Tralee will be the hottest property in Munster on Sunday August 22^nd when many stylish, spectacular and sophisticated new looks are on view in front of a packed audience. Produced by the Holman Lee Agency, a host of premier designers and boutiques from all over Munster and beyond will be on show during what is for many the highlight of the Festival each year.

Celia Holman Lee, the producer of the Fashion Show, is looking forward to what she expects will be the biggest fashion show of the year: “The Rose of Tralee Fashion Show is the first and biggest Autumn Winter showcase of the year and one of the highlights of the fashion calendar in Ireland. Over the years it has attracted top designers and fashion outlets.”

€1000 will be presented to the winner of the Best Dressed Lady Competition which will be judged by 2009 Rose of Tralee Charmaine Kenny. This prize will be sponsored by the Irish Examiner who are a major media partner of the Rose of Tralee International Festival.

The Editor of the Irish Examiner, Tim Vaughan, said: “This is our second year as title sponsor of the Irish Examiner Fashion Show, one of the biggest and most glamorous fashion shows taking place this year. Events such as this are so important to the local economy in Tralee and the Irish Examiner is delighted to continue to support and promote the festival to a national audience.”

In addition to special appearance from the 32 Roses and Escorts, there will something for everyone at this year’s Irish Examiner Fashion Show with a wide range of exhibitors displaying beauty and accessory products throughout the evening within the Dome. The night will begin with some wonderful movement and dance by Art In Motion.

The Irish Examiner Fashion Show will take place in the Festival Dome on Sunday 22^nd August at 8pm, following a wine reception at 7.00pm in the Rose Pavilion. Tickets are available from www.roseoftralee.ie or 066-7121322 for €30.
