Welcome to the Dear John Letter! In the early 1990s, I presented the night time programme Monday to Friday on Radio Kerry 96 to 98fm.
At 11.30 each night, during the Love Hour, I read out the Dear John Letter. Listeners, mainly teenagers, from all over Kerry and beyond sent in their stories and a list of 10 of their favourite love songs from which I would play two.

Dear John Letter Revisited #4 Feb 6th 2012
This #DearJohn Letter is an absolute gem that was only resurrected because I still had the recording from the actual broadcast! Eastenders, Dallas, Dynasty wouldn't get a look-in as the writer has a serious dilemma!
Moral of the story...don't mess around with your girlfriend's sister or friend, especially if your brother is going out with your girlfriend's sister while having a fling with her friend!!
A classic!!
